Many small businesses struggle to find ample attractive office space at a low cost. Thanks to nbkc bank, one business will secure such space at the best rate possible — free — in an office space giveaway recently announced by the bank.
Reflecting its commitment to supporting small businesses across the Kansas City region, nbkc bank is making 3,500-square-feet office space at its Leawood branch available rent-free for one year.
“High-quality office space can be beyond the reach of many small businesses, so we felt it would be great to give one or two businesses the chance to use some of our space at no cost,” said Peter Mercer, deposit experience manager, vice president at nbkc bank. “It’s a visible, high-quality space, so it could be a great boost for a small business in the Kansas City area.”
The nbkc Leawood branch is located at Ranch Mart North, 3510 W 95th St. Any Kansas City business that has been in operation for more than one year, potentially needs rent assistance and does not overlap with any Ranch Mart business is eligible to apply. The business selected to use the space will be responsible for paying for utilities and advertising/promotional expenses.

“We are highly committed to supporting the small business community in the Kansas City region and believe that nbkc has an exceptional small business offering,” Mercer said. “We welcome every opportunity to make ourselves and our services known to small businesses.”
Formed in 1999, nbkc bank is celebrating its 25th year of serving the Kansas City region. The bank has a rich history of serving small businesses and participating broadly in the local community. In an analysis published on April 17, 2023, by the Kansas City Business Journal, nbkc bank was named the strongest large bank in the Kansas City area.
