SMCKC June Breakfast: Garmin’s Social Media Care

The Sales Series: Creating an Up Front Contract

Where: Enterprise Center in Johnson County
Participants will understand the importance and the details of creating mutual agreements up front so that there is no mutual mystification regarding what will happen or outcomes.

Second Fridays

We’ll provide games & cards. This event is BYOB with a twist – bring a 6-pack of your favorite beer to share and we’re going to have a “beer potluck” cooler.

Make48
When: June 10 – June 12
Where: TBD
Teams apply and compete to develop a new commercial product idea in a 48 hour invent-a-thon weekend. Teams have 48 hours to plan, prototype and pitch a new idea within the specifications of a challenge, revealed at the start of the 48 hours.

WordCamp KC
When: June 10 – June 12
Where: Kauffman Foundation
WordCamp Kansas City is an annual conference focused on free and open source software WordPress, as well as blogging, content distribution, social media, entrepreneurship and more. A full list of speakers and topics are on the website.
