Consolidating five locations into a single, state-of-the-art Kansas City campus means Master’s Transportation — a leading provider of commercial buses and vans — will relocate 130 Missouri employees to its new headquarters, with plans to expand to 250 by the end of the year, the company said.

“This expansion reflects the company’s rapid growth and commitment to being a valuable employer and influential member of the Midwest business community,” the company told Startland News. “By tripling its workforce, the headquarters will significantly contribute to community stability and economic growth.”

The new campus — on 40 acres at 14655 Prospect Ave — provides ample space to grow,  featuring a 252,000-square-foot production facility, a 36,000-square-foot Class A office, and nearly 1 million square feet of concrete paving for bus parking; as well as close proximity to the highway and the city enhances accessibility and connectivity.

Leaders also emphasized the headquarters’ employee-centric design.

“Our new facility was designed so our manufacturing team can work in a climate-controlled, comfortable space year-round and enjoy exceptional benefits,” said Rita Luukkonen, general counsel at Master’s Transportation, touting the new headquarters building’s integrated air filtration and indoor air quality technologies, along with an advanced geothermal HVAC system to keep indoor temperatures between 68 and 82 degrees.

“By putting employee well-being first, we’re able to deliver better service and greater satisfaction to our customers,” she added.

Master’s Transportation is actively hiring for a number of hands-on engineering and technical positions, as well as in-house business and sales roles, as it navigates the expansion.

“As a company with over 20 years in Missouri, Master’s Transportation is committed to creating new jobs and growing within our Kansas City community,” said Luukkonen. “Our leadership team values our people and supports their growth and positive employee experience. For those looking to contribute, build on their skills, and work together for shared success, it’s an exciting time to join the company.”

Master’s Transportation opened its previous headquarters in 2000 at 800 QuikTrip Way, Belton, MO 64012.
