ULAH merging stores, moving women’s brand into seamless, new one-stop shop experience
February 3, 2024 | Startland News Staff
Fans of LUNA by ULAH — a retail shop featuring an on-trend mix of ready-to-wear women’s apparel, accessories, gifts and home accents — will soon find the brand’s curated offerings two doors down in the Woodside Village live/work center on Rainbow Boulevard.
The store is in the final planning stages of relocating to a space within its parent brand ULAH — a neighborhood staple at 4707 Rainbow — creating an intentional one-stop shop experience, said Buck Wimberly.
“For us, this is a strategic evolutionary move,” said Wimberly, co-owner of ULAH, LUNA, and ULAH Interiors + Design. “It’s going to help make the most of our retail space and give all our customers the same shopping experience they’ve come to love at ULAH.”

The integration of LUNA into a section within ULAH will not only preserve the unique offerings of both stores, but also build upon them, he added.
“By merging LUNA with ULAH, our goal is to enhance the variety and accessibility of our products,” said Wimberly. “We want our customers to find everything they need, all in one place.”
The stores’ transition is set for Feb. 26.
A LUNA New Moon launch party is planned for noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at ULAH, featuring live music, enter-to-win prizes, gifts with purchase, drinks and bites.
The reconfiguration process is carefully planned to avoid any disruption to ULAH’s existing selection, said co-owner Joey Mendez. Customers can expect the integration of a small, dedicated LUNA section in the back of the ULAH store, featuring the same curated high-quality and stylish women’s apparel currently featured at LUNA, including top brands Vuori, Zadig & Voltaire, On, Scotch & Soda, Aviator Nation, and Z Supply.
“We’re moving things around and using a space in the back of the store that was previously not used as selling space,” Mendez said. “We’re excited to maximize our store’s existing footprint.”
ULAH started in 2016 as a Kansas City based locally owned retailer, offering a thoughtfully curated collection of men’s clothing, accessories, gifts, essentials, home accents, and interior design services. The family of brands expanded with ULAH Interiors + Design evolving into a full-service design firm in 2020.
LUNA by ULAH was added in 2021 to include a high-quality assortment for women.
Elise Alexander, co-owner of LUNA, is looking forward to another aspect of the merged stores, she said.
“We’re not just combining ULAH and LUNA in-store; we’re also joining forces online and relaunching a new website in March,” Alexander said. “Our customers will be able to shop both stores on one website.”
ULAH Interiors + Design’s online presence will also be integrated in the update.
“We feel like we are bringing our brand family together, whether you’re strolling through our doors or scrolling through our website,” she said. “It’s all about making your shopping experience even more seamless.”
