January 25, 2021 | Startland News Staff
The Kansas City Chiefs are headed back to the Super Bowl — seeking to replicate last year’s post-season success at the Feb. 7 big game in Tampa, Florida.
And while an ongoing pandemic will limit the number of fans who can travel to the championship matchup, hometown brands and retailers are working to make sure the Chiefs Kingdom can show its support for a team that’s given them something to root for amid challenging times.
Startland News scoured the racks of local makers, brands and stores in search of ways fans can wear their team pride as Kansas City attempts back-to-back Super Bowl wins. This story is part of a limited-run Startland News series examining the ripple effect of the Chiefs’ success on small businesses.
