WEEKLY EVENT PREVIEW

 

GUILDit 
When: August 11 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Where: Uptown Arts Bar
GUILDit is a gathering that helps craft a stronger Kansas City creative economy, one art entrepreneur at a time.

Second Fridays 
When: August 12 @ 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Where: Village Square Coworking Studio
Second Fridays is a casual, fun gathering for the startup community to connect on a monthly basis with no agenda except good times. This event is BYOB with a twist – bring a 6-pack of your favorite beer to share and we’re going to have a “beer potluck” cooler.

Coding & Cocktails
When: August 13 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: The Nerdery
Session Topic: Introduction to NPM and Bower. Join us for our monthly coding series, Coding & Cocktails. Women are invited to attend sessions to get an introduction to website building in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.

Office Hours with Husch Blackwell
When: August 17 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Where: Sprint Accelerator
Nathan Oleen with Husch Blackwell will be here 9AM to 1PM for Office Hours! Nathan is a technology and intellectual property attorney who works with entrepreneurs in startups and established businesses.

August TechTalk – Breakout KC Scavenger Hunt
When: August 17 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: J.C. Nichols Memorial Fountain
