Sprint Accelerator firms hiring, offering meet-and-greet

2016 Sprint Accelerator

The new firms at the Techstars-led Sprint Accelerator program are already growing.

While many are looking for interns, seven of the 10 mobile tech companies in the three-month accelerator are looking to hire staff. The companies, which entered the Kansas City-based accelerator on Feb. 22, each nabbed $120,000 in capital as part of the program, as well as access to a network of mentors to help develop their businesses.

The Sprint Accelerator also is hosting an event in which community members can meet founders of the startups. RSVP to that event here.

Karmies is looking for an Android developer. Karmies created an ad tech platform that monetizes emojis by making them smart and branded.

Leka needs to hire  a web developer and social media guru. Leka developed an interactive smart toy for children with special needs that helps them learn, play and progress.

Mycroft is on the hunt for an operations and admin specialist. Mycroft built an open source, voice-driven AI platform for the connected home and beyond.

Responsive Ads hopes to find a graphic/web designer and a software tester. The company created a responsive web design platform for advertising.

Social Capital is hiring a graphic/web designer and an operations administrator. The company generates accurate personality profiles by applying artificial intelligence to social and online behavior.

SpaceView is looking for a UI/UX designer and a software engineer. Spaceview developed a mobile augmented reality platform that visualizes real world products in virtual spaces.

Super Dispatch is looking to hire a marketing/social media guru. The Kansas City-based company developed a platform that enables automotive logistics companies to eliminate paperwork, manage loads, drivers, and billing all in one place.
