There are a boatload of entrepreneurial events hosted in Kansas City on a weekly basis. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, investor, supporter or curious Kansas Citian, we’d recommend these upcoming events for you.


WEEKLY EVENT PREVIEW

Second Fridays
When: February 12 @ 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Where: Village Square Coworking Studio
Second Fridays is simply a casual, fun gathering for the startup community to connect on a monthly basis with no agenda except good times. We’ll provide games & cards – BYOB.

CoderDojoKC February
When: February 13 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Where: Google Fiber
A free way for kids to learn to code in the Kansas City area. Mentor powered and technology driven.

Coding & Cupcakes
When: February 13 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Where: CodeKoalas
Mothers and daughters are invited to attend sessions to learn about code and how to build websites together.

Coding & Cocktails
When: February 13 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: The Nerdery
It’s time to get techy and learn web development basics over trendy cocktails. The first thing to know is no prior programming experience is required!!

“Intentional Collisions” — Cybersecurity
When: February 16 @ 10:00 am – 4:30 pm
Where: Sprint Accelerator
For February, our theme is … Cybersecurity! In our fast-paced tech world, many overlook the risks associated with all of this data and the need for intense IT security and privacy.

The Budget Series: Cash is King — Identifying Key Financial Drivers
When: February 16 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Where: Women’s Business Center
This is a three-hour interactive workshop that lets participants learn how planning helps to unlock cash at every stage of the business, and how each participant’s own decisions affects cash flow and working capital.

KC Startup Happy Hour #3

Indulge in startup & community-oriented conversation with a beer or two, if so inclined. There’s no set agenda, so feel free to show up when you can, and chat on whatever you find interesting at the moment!
